A new Toy Tonics remix package is on the way, featuring BOOMBASS (Cassius), Peggy Gou label affiliate DUKWA, Italian funk house champion FIMIANI, and EARL.
It’s the second round of remixes from Kapote’s Para Mytho Discoalbum, released in early 2024, further highlighting the Toy Tonics boss’s wide-ranging taste and curious, genre-blending approach to dance music. The EP focuses on “Berlin Boogie Town,” reimagined by Parisian legend Boombass with uplifting French Touch vibes, by Dukwa in a stripped-back, raw, club-ready version driven by gritty analog grooves, and by Fimiani in an extended, slow-burning mix rooted in Italo disco and classic deep house.
The package is completed by Earl’s remix of “The Come On,” a warm, soulful, sample-heavy house cut that rounds out the release perfectly.
