ALOT, born in Buenos Aires and based in Barcelona, is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer who has spent the past year DJing and performing across Europe and the Americas. Now, he presents his debut album, exploring different dancefloor sounds through two contrasting emotional worlds: Love and Hate.
The Love side features Vida Nueva, Anoche and Que Queres, with a soulful approach built around jazzy chords, recorded instruments and live drums. The Hate side, featuring SOS IGUAL A LOS DEMAS and Club, takes a more club focused direction, blending acid lines, 90s rave influences and UK Garage elements.
The lyrics reflect the emotions and the people ALOT encountered throughout the past year. Inspired by Jamiroquai, Louie Vega, Ron Carroll, MJ Cole, Nile Rodgers and Miranda, his debut album balances warmth and energy, moving seamlessly between intimate songwriting and peak-time dancefloor moments.
