Gee Lane is a Venezuelan DJ based in Barcelona and good friend of Toy Tonics. She will release her first EP on TT in 2023 but already has played a couple of times at Toy Tonics Jams and perfectly fits that vibe. Mixing funky future house, rare disco edits, lot of percussions and crazy dance riddims, some soulful techno or edits of south american music.
GEE LANE – who also plays under the name of VIR-GINIE is known for her extreme flexibility and range of genres, extensive sound knowledge and unmatchable technique, getting lot of props and applause from DJs like Ash Lauryn, Lakuti, Natasha Diggs for her sets.
Vir aka Gee Lane is quite known in her exil home town Barcelona where she played clubs & festivals including Primavera Sound 2019 , Sónar 2022, Cruïlla Fest, DGTL Barcelona, Brunch-In The Park, and Apolo.
Gee Lane has enjoyed the privilege of sharing the booth with international renowned DJs, such as Moxie, Mr.G, Laurent Garnier, Honey Dijon, A-trak, Lil Louise and more.
In addition to her activity as a DJ, she curates the radio show: Table For Two on Radio D59B (Belgrade) where she hosts her favorite producers, djs and music selectors in the industry.
