Tonic Booking aka Toy Tonics Booking is the booking agency of Toy Tonics in cooperation with Orchid AM. We take care of the Toy Tonics Jam events and also the solo booking of some of the Toy Tonics artists. We also are responsible for arranging Toy Tonics Stages at music festivals around the world.
Toy Tonics from Berlin is now one of the most successful dance music labels from Germany. Known for an edgy sound that combines quality house music, indie disco, and organic dance music based on soul and groove, Toy Tonics artists take inspiration from New York and London 1990s vibes, Y2K indie, and 1980s Italo and new wave. They create a new, unique sound that is becoming very popular with a young, diverse, and colorful crowd. Since Toy Tonics is also deeply connected to Berlin’s art world, its followers often come from the art school, cinema, and media spheres. (Toy Tonics also organizes underground exhibitions and publishes a graphic magazine, posters, and limited design shirts.)
The core DJ and producer crew of Toy Tonics includes creative head Kapote, Cody Currie, Sam Ruffillo, Gee Lane, Coeo, Athlete Whippet, Barbara Boeing, Stump Valley, Fimiani, and new London producer Guinny. (But big names like DJ Sneak, Eliza Rose, and Kai Alce have also released on the label.) Now, some of them are not just playing sold-out gigs on their own but are also invited by big DJs like Peggy Gou, Folamour, and Honey Dijon to open for their sets.
Their music also has an impressive following, sells well on vinyl, and gets millions of plays on streaming platforms (which means their music is actually popular).
2024 is the busiest year for the label, with a strong release schedule and up to five gigs every week (!) with their TOY TONICS JAMS. These big party events showcase their wild style house sound, attracting up to 1500 people all over Europe. In their home base Berlin, they have been regulars at Berghain Panorama Bar since 2023 and have hosted huge parties at clubs like OXI, Funkhaus, RSO, and illegal off-venues. They have been invited for a 4-week residency at London’s Phonox and have held regular nights at leading clubs in Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Madrid, Rome, and many other European cities. They were invited to stage takeovers at festivals like Melt!, Kala Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Calvi On the Rocks, and have a showcase at Soar Festival 2024 (sharing the stage with Kaytranada, Paramida, and Jessie Ware). The Toy Tonics showcase at ADE 2023 was one of the most talked-about (sold-out) events, with more than 1300 people going crazy.
All Toy Tonics artists are not just DJs with serious skills and knowledge who know how to create euphoria and this special VIBE on the dancefloor (as you can see in the videos from the Toy Tonics Jams on TT Instagram) but are also seriously skilled musicians who know how to play keys, bass, or drums.
Toy Tonics releases have been supported by DJs across the wider underground scene like Gerd Janson, Folamour, DJ Harvey, DJ Tennis, Eliza Rose, and The Blessed Madonna, to name a few.
